signalboostAl & Bug have always struggled to make ends meet as long as I've (casually) known them... Almost 20 years now. So I took notice when I saw a fundraiser for them in copperbagde's recent Radio Free Monday post.
To quote the fundraising post:
Al made me a bracelet and sent it to Germany one holiday many years ago, just a kindness to a fellow fan, even when Al was already in pretty dire circumstances. I'll never forget that.
Below is the link to their fundraiser, organized by a friend of theirs. I hope we can help them reach their goal. Aside from giving money, there are also other ways to help, especially if you can recommend good legal counsel for them.

They have had a very rough few years, Bug has physical and sight impairments and they are currently living in temporary accommodation and trying to get permanent, wheelchair-accessible housing and access to the support they should be getting provided by the state in Dupage County, Illinois. They also lost most of their belongings including their winter clothes when their previous home was flooded.
