I would be wary of donating anything to the Red Cross for flood relief given their poor showing in Louisiana after flooding back in March and other ongoing issues, but everything else on this list looks legit, and the need is urgent on a scale that’s hard to wrap one’s mind around. Every bit helps.

Oof, that's disconcerting to hear, considering how often the urge is to steer people to them rather than to just any fly-by-night organization that crops up saying "Oh, we'll help..."
