This is Pemba, a rescue kitty who lives with a lovely family in Washington. Their long-time kitty passed away recently, and they went to the shelter to look around, and fell in love with this snuggly gent. Unfortunately, he had a little accident and broke his leg (and it looks like he may have a condition that makes his bones weaker). He's going to need surgery at the least, and possibly the leg amputated. They applied for Care Credit but were turned down, so are hoping for a bit of help with the upcoming vet bills so they can do right by the newest member of their family.

Like much of the internet, I hate thinking about kitties in pain. Boost the signal if you would, help if you can?
