signalboostLauren sings in my choir. She is good people; she does social justice-y stuff and was active with Occupy Philadelphia.
Lauren uses an electric wheelchair to live and work independently and deal with the pain of Arthrogryposis. Her old one recently died, and the new one costs $26,500. Her insurance will cover only $8000 of this. So she owes more than $18,000 for the new one, out of pocket.

I can’t afford to donate, so here is what I’ll do: If you donate more than $50 to Lauren’s campaign, I will write you a fanfic with characters of your choice. I’ll do it Yuletide-style: 1000 words minimum, and I’ll try my best to write the storyline you request.
