Illness strikes again

k_a_webbFor a little while it looked as though James was getting better, but now we're right back where we were in the summer, because the problem has returned. He's back on antibiotics, which didn't do much good last time and don't seem to be doing anything now, and there's a chance we might be looking at managing it instead of fixing it. As he isn't too comfortable with talking about what's wrong I'm going to keep things vague here, but basically what this means is he's having trouble walking, sitting, and standing comfortably. Even laying down can be difficult at times. He works in retail and we can't afford for him to take any more time off, so he's once again back to dealing with it all as best he can.
I'll be honest - he doesn't always deal with the problem well and considering the fact he's in pain pretty much 24/7 I don't blame him, although sometimes I have to admit I don't deal with his grumpiness and depression well. I do my best, but I'm the one who does everything, I'm working two jobs (doggy day care and crowdfunded writing), and there are days when I would really like to just relax. Unfortunately I can't. So I'm signal boosting here to see if I can pull together some money for the rest of my half of the rent (I'm at £100, so I need another £90, and I should be getting some money in the next couple of days for the daycare) and the groceries that I'm going to need to buy soon, which will be at least £80.
At my website (different domain, as I was in the process of changing my name before everything fell apart) I'm having a setting rental sale in an attempt to earn enough for the groceries, and if you're interested in any other of my settings let me know, because I'm happy to work something out with you. I also offer commissions - I'll write a story for you that will belong to me, so I can sell it to others for a little extra - and ghostwriting services.
